Friday night the doorbell rang. The UPS deliveryman handed me an unexpected package from my publisher five copies of Why Men Hate Going to Church in Korean! It is the first translated version of the book. I had no idea the book was being translated into any other language.
This is an exciting development. Korea is home to the world’s largest church, and according to a recent article in Christianity Today, Korea sends out more foreign missionaries than any country other than the United States.
Apparently, the Korean church is suffering the same gender gaps as the Western church, so my publisher decided to have the book translated. Join me in praying that the book is helpful to a generation of pastors, church planters and laypeople who want to see more men walking with Christ.
